Plex Settings

Change your Plex client to play in MAXIMUM QUALITY

This needs to be changed every time you sign in to Plex on new device.

• Web (Chrome/Firefox/Safari/etc.)
• iOS (iPhone/iPad)
• Android
• Android TV (Nvidia Shield/FireTV/etc.)
• Apple TV
• Roku
• Xbox
• Playstation

Web

This applies to accessing Plex through any browser.

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Video Quality to Maximum

iOS

Any Apple iOS devices - iPhone, iPad.

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Video Quality to Maximum

Android

Any Android phones and tablets.

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Video Quality to Maximum

Android TV

Any Android TV device like FireTV, Nvidia Shield, some TVs with built-in Android TV.

Go to Settings > Video Quality and set Home Streaming and Remote Streaming Quality to Maximum

Apple TV

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Home Streaming and Remote Streaming Quality to Maximum

Roku

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Video Quality to Maximum

Xbox

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Video Quality to Maximum

Playstation

Go to Settings > Plex Web > Quality and set Video Quality to Maximum
